Louisville has a decent group of starting pitchers don’t they? Well, two of them made the Baseball America Prospect Hot Sheet today.

Daryl Thompson came in at #4 after his final start in Chattanooga and his first start in Louisville resulted in 13 innings, 2 runs, 2 walks and 13 strikeouts. They report that Thompson was working 91-94 MPH with his fastball to go along with his changeup, curveball and slider.

Matt Maloney came in at #13 on the list as he posted similar numbers as Thompson with 14 innings, 2 runs, 5 walks and 13 strikeouts. They note that Maloney is now throwing a plus changeup.
