Video of Reds Tanner Rainey, Tony Santillan and Kevin Garcia from Monday in Arizona Doug Gray March 29, 2016 6 Comments On Monday I was able to get some video of 2015 second round draft picks of the Cincinnati Reds on the mound, as both Tony Santillan and Tanner Rainey pitched in relief of big leaguer Jon Moscot, who threw the first two innings of the game. Both pitchers were impressive in their outings. I also got a few clips of outfielder Kevin Garcia, who has hit over .300 in each of his last two seasons (he missed all of 2014). Doug Gray March 29, 2016 I have seen him. Defensively, he’s better right now. Trees was catching the Advanced-A game yesterday. DaveCT March 29, 2016 Also curious as to who looks best to you if the 2B crowd, Washington, Long, Maridosian, etc., though it may not matter if Trahan keeps things going. Troy March 29, 2016 Great videos. Nice to see all those swings and misses against Rainey and Santillan. sultanofswaff March 29, 2016 Stephenson looks every bit the part behind the plate. Gets himself nice and low for a big guy and is relatively quiet back there. Rainey is sneaky quick for a guy with such a low effort delivery. On the other hand, Santillan strikes me as a reliever type, but obviously that has yet to be determined. Great work Doug! The Duke March 29, 2016 Santillan seemed to do a good job keeping the ball down in the zone. Hopefully when he elevates, he keeps it out of the zone.
