So disappointed w tj freidle. Thought he would kill it this year. Aquino has fallin off the earth too. But I do have some trade sceneries for u Doug. 1 Iglesias to nats for Robles. (+).
2 Suarez to mets for Rosario. 3 Duvall to rays for snell.
    What says u Doug?

Disappointed? He’s hitting .279/.367/.457 right now with good plate discipline. I’m not sure exactly what you expected. He’s playing better than he did last year, but he doesn’t have a .420 BABIP this year. That’s the real difference.

I’m not getting into the trade stuff right now. I’m not looking up the info and contract details for the other guys, but I’m not looking to trade Suarez right now.

I kept an eye out for Friedl all last year and this year also. I thought he’d be 330/425/550. An absolute beast. And be top 100 prospect overall. I understand that’s steep but that’s what I envisioned. He will step it up tho. Imo

Your setting yourself up for major disappointment if those are your trade expectations.

Two things to consider with Friedl and Aquino. Few players have come from the hitter friendly Pioneer League to the Midwest League to see their numbers improve. What you hope to see is consistency and I think if you get into the numbers you actually see improvement, especially considering the competition.
In Aquino’s case the jump from High A to AA is probably the toughest players face in their development. It is actually the league where pitchers start adjusting to hitters strengths. It is certainly a learning process. The season is at the 25% point. If he is still struggling at the 75% point then maybe expectations were too high.

That was only his second off day of the year. It was just a scheduled off day.

glad to see long keep hitting, I’m on his hype train, I don’t believe he to small just short.. ill get killed for this, but I think long is on Senzel’s level as a hitter. I really like long’s serious mentality it votto like, even in pics long looks angry lol

Don’t really understand the Chavez to Pensacola move when Goeddel went on the DL. Many more candidates that are deserving even if it’s only for a week.

Legitimate prospects you don’t really move up for just a week, you move them up when they are ready to move to the next level and stay there. Temp assignments are what you do with org guys.
