We did it! We’ve got two weeks in a row with an episode of Cincinnati Reds Minor League Talk.

In this weeks episode we talk about Jose Siri’s hit streak coming to an end and how that whole situation developed. Then we talk a little bit about Hunter Greene and making his professional debut tonight for the Billings Mustangs as their designated hitter. Finally we wrap things up by sitting down with outfielder Taylor Trammell

The episode this week is a little bit longer than in the past. It runs just over 17 minutes long. Hopefully the audio is better this week, but I still need to work out the kinks. Sorry for the loud breathing – I don’t know why it picked up on each breath that I took so loudly. I swear I’m not sick or dying, but it sure sounds like I’m taking my last breath with each one.

Thanks for the interview Doug. Trammell sure sounds mature and insightful for a 19 year old.

agreed .. Trammell appears to have a great outlook on the mental aspects of the game. I am already a fan. Good luck Taylor . Can’t wait to see you play in the ‘viile’ and someday at GABP.

He’s incredibly thoughtful with his answers, especially considering how young he is. Sometimes you’ll get that stuff with guys that have been around a lot longer, but it’s not something you see often with younger guys. Really enjoy talking with him.
