Cody Reed has to be the Reds’ biggest disappointment this year aside from the injuries to Disco and Finnegan. The Mets announcers said he lead the Int. league in walks, hit batsmen and wild pitches—-can’t get much worse than that.
Garrett had impressive velocity and even though his off speed pitches were sharp, he noticeably slows his deliver when throwing them—-in time this will catch up to him. and 22 HRs in 63 innings has to be close to a record one would think.

Have to wonder if Santillan was still experiencing a little shoulder stiffness as it seemed it took a couple of innings to gain his command. it seemed to me he was really rushing his motion, like he could make up for a lack of strength by speeding everything up. Threw 30 pitches in first inning but then seemed to get comfortable and get it together.
