Senzel has been making plenty of contact just hit right at em. The Rage June 8, 2018 Long and LaValley were duds once they hit AA. Never were considered good prospects though. Doug Gray June 8, 2018 What? Shed Long was a borderline Top 100 prospect after last season. He was hitting .291/.356/.500 two weeks ago. He’s been in a bit of a slump for 2 weeks. Might be time to take a little bit of a deep breath. MK June 8, 2018 AA is not easy, maybe the toughest promotion to adjust to. If you looked at AA failure then Alex Blandino would have been cut three years ago. kevinz June 8, 2018 Not gonna respond about Lavalley never mentioned him. I thought Long was considered a good Prospect not a Great prospect. Hope Long figures it out The more good players the better for our Reds Shed is young enough still to right the ship hope for the best as they say weigarp June 8, 2018 Give him a break. He’s in a slump. He’ll bounce back. MK June 8, 2018 Maybe making the All Star team with a .216 Batting average might have been a great motivator for Brantley Bell as he has raised his average 23 points in the week since. I thought those calling for Jeter Downs promotion were a bit premature. The last 10 games he has hit .194. He is going to have learning periods with ups and downs (no pun intended). We have to be as patient in hot streaks as the cold streaks The Duke June 8, 2018 At this point, I think Downs is in Dayton for all of 2018. It may be just a slump, but his numbers and defensive skill don’t scream promotion. Beltre and Fairchild up to Daytona after the MiLB all star games, Trammell and Freidl to Pensacola.
