Very nice to see the Walks from Siri really can impact a game without a single hit.
O’Grady nice to see figured some walks would come soon nice feel for zone.
O’Grady another 26 year old sleeper. He learned alot for Griffey SR.I think a nice player to model your game after lol.

Two questions Doug, one do you see TJ Friedl as capable of playing CF defensively on an everday basis? I always assumed he was and that he was only playing off the position a majority of the time due to the presence of Siri and/or Trammell.

And two, Do you know why Siani left the game early for Greeneville?

    • Doug Gray

      Friedl can absolutely play CF.

I think that the manager just put in a few guys in a blowout.

Ok that’s what I was thinking/hoping on both. Thanks Doug!

Not sure Rookie is going to make it back to the 40 man.

That game was played, partially, 3.5 weeks ago. He’s been returned to the DL since that point.

My god our lower levels (Greenville specifically) are hurting for quality pitching

    • Alex

Yeah it’s been very poor besides just a couple of guys. Might take an extra year or two to get the extra team properly set up. Most of the Azl team feels like they should be in the Dsl still. Which would have put alot of the Greenville players in Azl

Mariel Bautista is lighting up Pioneer League pitching to the tune of .419/.444/.744/1.189 over the last 10 games.

I am intrigued what the 2019 Dayton outfield will look like. Siani, Bautista, White and Spillane all making a case to be there. Potentially Ozuna. Hope to see Sugilio and Cedrola move to Daytona but can see OF as a backlog of real prospects in lower levels.

Might expect Munroe, Williams and Wallace to remain in Dayton in 2019. Satchel McElroy will either need to move up or go home next year as well.

All the hitting in Greeneville last nigh (18) and Thomas took an 0-fer. Like to see him in Dayton next week for the playoff run. Have played Santanna and Munroe out of position at first since Marshal was suspended in mid June.
