Reds Pitchers take home some awards

Justin Lehr won the International League Pitcher of the Week Award. Lehr went 2-0 with a 0.60 ERA in 15 innings of work. He walked just 1, allowed 6 hits and struck out 10 over that span of time.

Daryl Thompson won the Southern League Pitcher of the Week Award. Thompson allowed just 1 unearned run in 2 starts that spanned 12 innings where he walked just 1 and struck out 13 batters. He allowed just 5 hits in those 112 innings.

Roster Moves

Danny Dorn (Photo: Tim Evearitt) was put on the DL. He slid trying to make a catch in a game the other day and caught his leg on some fencing. He finished the inning before checking his leg out in the dugout. He wound up receiving 19 stitches in his leg. Sean Henry was promoted from Sarasota to Chattanooga to take his spot.
