  1. Another intentional walk or did Juan Fransico earn this one?

  2. He actually earned that one lol.

  3. Why does the Midwest League take so many days off? It seems like they play every other day.

  4. Maybe it just seems that way with Dayton being snowed/rained out several times this year already.

  5. As bad offensively as the Reds are, seems to me we might start giving a little attention to Tonys Gutierrez. He and Cumberland ought to go ASAP to Louisville and Valaika and Turner should go to Chatt, moving Anderson and Eymann to backup.

  6. Has anyone noticed that Gutierrez has a godly OBP? At last check it was up to .447. That’s got to count for something. Ive always thought his ability to hit near .300 and get on base makes him interesting. Now if the power would just kick in…
I dont think the Reds offense needs reinfocements from the minors as much as it needs Griffey/Dunn/Phillips to get on a roll. Taking Patterson and his sub .300 obp out of the leadoff spot (and preferrably the lineup altogether) would help.

I agree Kyle…. as for Gutierrez, if he played another position he would likely get more attention, but at first base his power just doesn’t play very well.
