  • Adam Rosales went 1-2 with a walk.
  • Chris Dickerson went 2-4 with an RBI.

Chattanooga lost 6-4. Box Score

  • Shaun Cumberland went 1-4 with a walk.
  • Tonys Gutierrez went 4-4 with a double, walk and 3 RBI.
  • Jerry Gil went 2-5 with a double and a run.
  • Craig Tatum went 3-4 with 2 RBI.

  • Daryl Thompson had a rough night. He allowed 1 earned run over 6 innings to go with 5 hits and a walk allowed. He struck out 6. Rough night for him. ERA BALLOONED to 0.72.

Sarasota lost 8-0. Box Score

  • Ramon Geronimo struck out the side in his only inning. Ridiculous.

Dayton won 3-1. Box Score

  • Brandon Waring went 1-2 with a double, RBI, run and 2 walks.
  • Denis Phipps went 2-4 with 2 doubles and a run.

  • Matt Klinker (of Redlegnation.com fame) pitched 7 innings, allowed just 1 run on 5 hits and he struck out 6. Has a 2.49 ERA through 4 games this season.

  1. How long before players get promoted??? Good lord. Do you think the transition from Kriv to Jocketty is causing some delays?

  2. I really hope not. I hope Jocketty wasn’t that far out of the loop on our players.

  3. The season is still young so I wouldn’t expect a slew of promotions just yet. However, I cannot wait to see where everyone ends up at the all star break. Im looking forward to the Soto-Frazier-Valaika promotion. Then the chain reaction of outfielders moving up, maybe Jones-Stubbs-Cumberland-Bruce.
