Nice game by Ravin. I’m hoping he’s capable of doing that every time out.

Very nice game by Ravin…. He seemed to be on top of things this game. He has a great arm, hopefully his control is coming around to where it was in 2006.

  3. How good is his arm exactly? Does it compare favorably with Bailey, Roenicke, and Lotzkar? I would love to see him hold his own the rest of the year in Dayton and skyrocket up the prospect list into the top ten.

Ravin has the fastest heater in the system. He hit 99 MPH last summer in Billings. He also has a good change up. He battled some injuries last year and from what I heard from a scout, it is part of the reason for the control problems and that they shouldn’t be something that is that bad going forward. So far this year he is looking better in that department.

  5. Doug What happened to your draft report daily things?

  6. I know it’s just one game, but nevermind about the concerns with walks with Bruce.

    josh,
They will be back tomorrow…. I had a lot going on today and couldn’t get one done.

    Kevin,
I think Jay was just messing with guys in AAA by not walking. Trying to even the playing field and all, lol.
