Doug How Come you did not mention the completion of the suspended game from Jun 21 that the GCL Reds played yesterday.

  2. Zach Stewart is quietly handling his business in dayton has even given up a run yet.

  3. Stewart could be a very fast riser, posibly in the pen by the middle of next year. That would give the Reds 4 right handed power arms in the pen:

    Francisco Cordero 93-95
    Jared Burton 91-94
    Josh Roenicke 93-96
    Zack Stewart 94-97

Add in lefties Bray and Herrera and they are a solid long relief man away from bein ga very legit bullpen for 2010. I especailly like how Herrera is a polar opposit of the power arms with his 65-85 junkballs.

What type of prospect is Wideman. Is he a legit catching prospect?

It looks like Juan Duran is going to have a partner to roam the OF with for years to come! God I hope the Yorman Rodriguez rumor is true.

    Patrick,
I just missed that one somehow…. it was a busy night last night. As for Wideman, he seems to have some promise, but I haven’t seen him in person yet and with catchers I really don’t like making claims without seeing guys in person first unless I can get detailed scouting reports on guys.
