He has pitched better of late, so hopefully he keeps it going in Cincinnati.

Its official now according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Good news all around. Wonder what the moves from Louisville and Dayton are that made these moves complete throughout the system.
Thats the rumor anyways. I will see if I can track down some confirmation of that news. Just saw that Shaun Cumberland was pulled from the game early. Could it be a domino effect with outfielders?
Brandon Waring was sent to the DL with a hairline fracture in his thumb according to the Dayton Daily News. Neftali Soto was called up from Billings to take his spot. Soto had an OPS over 1.100 in Billings.
According to C Trent, it is official.
Personally, I think its a bad move. MLB debut, on the road in Yankee Stadium? Two starts ago he gave up 4 HR in 1 game in AAA but now he is ready to start against the Yankees? I like Daryl Thompson, so lets not get this wrong, but I am just not sure he is quite ready for the major leagues yet. I hope he throws a perfect game, but I am not too optimistic about him right now in the major leagues.
Kent Mercker is heading back to the DL and the Reds called up 5′7 and 140 pound Danny Herrera to take his spot. Herrera is the other player from the Josh Hamilton/Edinson Volquez trade. He was recently promoted to AAA and he has been pretty much lights out there for the Bats. He posted a 1.27 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP in 21.1 innings.
More moves as these guys take over for the guy above them who was promoted in the Roenicke and Watson promotions.
Sounds like Bailey gets to pitch 2 innings tonight or so, then will make the start in Philly on Thursday.
This is just confirmed now. Still have to ask, what does Ramon Geronimo have to do to get promoted?

Its about freaking time.
