The Reds have certainly augmented Daytona’s bullpen with the previous promotion og Ryan Nutoff and yesterdays of Corey Thompson and Austin Orewiler all from Dayton. Unfortunate that Thompson didn’t go a little earlier as I think he is pitching a little tired now.

big difference in the quality of pitching starting for the Brewers Biloxi team versus our Pensacola staff. Hand it to the offense for hanging in there but in any level’s playoffs, pitching usually makes the difference. Hopefully Siri shows up before its over because that guy is dynamic. I’m encouraged by Trammel turning it up for the playoffs. Would also be great if Ibandel can show he is capable of handling playoff pitching.

Tonight I listened to most of the Daytona playoff win game soooo according to the Tortugas play by play announcer, Ibandel pulled an outside curve down the left field line high and barely cleared the pole and fence for a vital 2 RBI dinger. They might have been pitching around him, but didn’t listen to last nights game. Anyone? Buehler? Anyone? A Tortuga Tater! Slooow! LOL
