Too bad things soured before he could work with Johnson. I think Price being the De facto pitching coach while also being manager hurt rebuilding after TJ. It also hurt young pitchers like Bobby Stephs. Patrick April 19, 2019 A Yankees team with all of its injuries is basically a AAA lineup that he faced, He show brief solid stretches last year. It about him not having the ability to be consistently good any more still 4.30 era. Stock April 19, 2019 Gardner, Judge, Voit, LeMahieu, Torres, Frazier. Maybe not up to the Yankees standards with Stanton, Sanchez and Didi on the DL but still much better than AAA Wes April 19, 2019 So Alex wood is a reliever and homer belongs in reds rotation ? Is that what your saying bob? How are u related to homer bailey again ? kevinz April 19, 2019 Could be a fluke, but a nice start for Aquino to the season . It Would be Huge if Light come on with his Power and arm Combo. Very nice to see 3 hits for Bautista, in 2 out of last 3 games. Stock April 19, 2019 My thoughts after the trade was this would be a bad trade if they didn’t go all in and get a stud RP and Realmuto. Going half in usually is a recipe for disaster. Duke is no Ottavino or Britton. Depending on injuries the Reds still have a chance to win the division but I would have felt much better if Ottavino and Realmuto were in town. Ryan April 19, 2019 Considering that Barnhrdt is hitting ok, i dont think Realmuto would’ve made that much of a differnce. Wouldn’t have Trammel or at least India and some other top 15 guy. They can still recoup what they gave up if Puig starts hitting. Stock April 19, 2019 Why trade Gray and Downs if your goal is to be competitive. Play to win the division not to win 80 – 90 games. They didn’t do that. I think they will win 85 – 90 games this year and watch the playoffs on TV. The Reds are not bad. But they would be much better with Realmuto and Ottavino vs. Barnhart and Duke. The Duke April 19, 2019 Taylor Trammell has been on base all 12 games this season, and dating back to last year now has an 18 game on base streak. Wes April 19, 2019 I’m a believer if they are ready let em play. Not saying trammell is ready but it’s not to hard to see if reds falter and are selling at deadline they finish the season with a winker/senzel/trammell outfield. That would be pretty cool and give fans something to look forward too. The Duke April 19, 2019 Weird early season splits: His 5 games at home at the Jack, Jonathan India has been a woeful .111/.238/.278 for a .516 OPS His 10 games on the road he is hitting .317/.391/.439, good for a .830 OPS MK April 19, 2019 Lyon Richardson hits a wall and is done. Last game it was after he was hit with line drive in leg. yesterday it was in the 4th. It is like 2 different pitchers.
