I thought Siri went to AAA. Was hoping the AAA ball would help his stats.

He went up for 1 game. The Louisville outfield/roster is banged up all kinds of silly right now. Louisville was playing in Gwinnett, which is only like a 2 hour drive from Chattanooga, and the Lookouts were on break.

Oof, 18 runs given up by Billings.

I wonder if Stuart Fairchild gets bumped up to Pensacola soon. .910 OPS in June after a .971 OPS in May. Already 23 years old and he’s fairly advanced defensively as well.

Doug— any word on Rece Hinds? Didn’t he get taken out early in the last game he played?

    • RojoBenjy

My take is that most of the talent is in Greeneville.

I don’t know if they suspected it was this lop-sided between the two or not.

What do the more plugged-in contributors think?

Connor Bennett with 9 saves? That’s great…why isn’t anyone talking about that?

    • Doug Gray

For the same reason we don’t talk about pitcher wins: It’s not all that useful in telling us about how good a player is. If we want to talk about how good Connor Bennett has been this year let’s talk about his 2.70 ERA or his 53 strikeouts in 33.1 innings or his 1 home run allowed this season.

      • Imho

Well you all talk about how good or bad players are all the time – my question was honest – i am not looking to anger or initiate a fight – i am actually grateful you did mention a bunch of Connors accomplishments
