The Billings Mustangs and Idaho Falls Chukars game was suspended by rain on Tuesday night. In the final game of the 1st round of the playoffs in Idaho Falls, Billings grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning. Jose Salvador struck out the side in the bottom of the inning. He wouldn’t get to face hitters again on the night. While he was warming up in the bottom of the second inning the already damp field began to get pounded when a slight rain turned into a downpour.

The game was suspended after 34 minute relay. It will be resumed on Wednesday evening at 7pm ET (5pm MDT in Idaho Falls). The winner of the game will advanced to the Pioneer League Championship Series to face off against the Ogden Raptors, who had the best record in the league.
